Apocalypse + special abilities + strong female lead + no romance
Black rain appears, and the apocalypse begins.
While fleeing, Yu Sui unexpectedly gets a golden finger:
a fluorescent-pink three-wheeled vehicle that loves singing nursery rhymes,
which comes with a five-month countdown to her death.
The pink tricycle is full of mysteries, but it's genuinely useful.
It can make song lyrics come to life, create virtual spaces, repair and upgrade weapons...
By comparison, her teammates seem to do nothing but eat, drink, and cheer her on.
The first time they're surrounded by zombies,
her three teammates hide behind her and wave their flags in support.
The pink tricycle beside them bursts into a thunderous, perfectly timed song:
"A real man has to fight! A real man has to fight!"
Yu Sui takes a deep breath and, under the three men's eager gazes, turns and charges into the horde.
The next time they're surrounded by zombies, Yu Sui is gravely wounded and on the brink of death. She suddenly sits bolt upright, sickbed be damned. Before she can even act,
Jian Qing's fingers fly, and three drones rise from behind him, leaving countless dead and wounded wherever they pass.
Sheng Zemin charges into the horde, swinging a massive shield and knocking out one little head after another with his fists.
The "Saintess" raises both hands. Black mist fills the air, and when it clears, only a field of corpses remains.
"I'd give up the kingdom for you, and lower my brow to keep my beauty."
Accompanied by a mournful, plaintive song, the pink tricycle charges into the horde and mows down zombies in a wild frenzy.
Yu Sui: ???
Does me being alive somehow get in the way of you guys dealing damage?
Is this the first review? It's really well written, and very imaginative. I really like the relationship between the two heroines. The writing style is also great, and the funny points are incorporated without being obtrusive at all.
