[Two female leads + dual storylines + two opposing factions + superpowers + invasion by alien species]
Explosions, destruction, terrorist attacks... This is what the so-called future looks like: a living hell. In the New Era, Earth's Federation is ruled by capital. Before technology and superpowers, ordinary people are as insignificant as grains of sand. Oppressed by capital, the people at the bottom have formed a rebel army to fight the Federation. And that's not all: the rapidly expanding insect race is sweeping across the entire star sector. Humanity is beset by crises both within and without.
Bai Tao's parents were persecuted to death by the Federation three years ago, and she has hated it ever since. For the past three years, she has continually assassinated the Federation's superpowered agents. By chance, she meets a rebel soldier and joins the ranks of the rebellion. She tries to get closer to the truth behind that incident, but the truth only grows further out of reach: a mysterious replication power, an intelligent lifeform in the realm of consciousness, and a hidden crisis within the rebel army... Even Bai Tao, whose heart has always held kindness, may lose herself in these chaotic times, until she meets her.
Code-named Ling, her real name is Nanling Susu. An S-rank superpowered agent of the Federation, she wields an ability called “Godslaying Black Flame” and has eliminated countless enemies for the Federation. Raised as an assassin from childhood, she seems to have lost all human emotion. She will become a weapon of war and a political tool, cast aside her humanity, and continue until the end of her life, but then she meets her.
Story elements:
A life full of misfortune, a bond forged in chaotic times, two heroines who love and fight each other
Clashes of superpowers, armies facing off, opposing factions locked in strategic standoffs
Corporate infighting, schemes and betrayal, capitalists tearing each other apart
Future warfare, a technological frenzy, superpowers colliding with mechs
Alien invasion, swarms run rampant, a fight to ensure civilization's survival
Due to plot reasons, I cannot comment too much on the Federation and the Rebel Army. To be precise, their ideas are correct, but the idea is correct, which does not mean that there will be no errors in execution. There is no winner in the war, and there is no telling when the fog will lift.
It looks great, I love reading it, but updates are so slow. The writing is good and the character descriptions are good. I can see the growth of Baitao and Ling's story (very little). The plot is too shallow and does not penetrate into the depths of the alliance and the depths of the resistance. It lacks stamina and left me not very impressed. I hope the author will update it soon. All in all, it is a book of good quality in Tomato. There are currently no bad points except that the plot cannot be developed due to too few chapters.
Although the title of the novel is unremarkable, once you click on it and read it, you feel that it really has something to it. I just came from Book Desert Square. If I hadn't read all the science fiction masterpieces, I might not have read this book. I didn't expect that things written by novice writers could be so attractive.
Very nice, I prefer Ling. It feels like there are a lot of chapters talking about white peaches, but Ling's chapters are a bit less. I really want to see the two of them face off, but I don't know if there will be a love connection. Hope to know some stories about Ling
It's a very interesting book. Both heroines have very strong abilities. Baitao's ability is set a bit like the Hand of God. What level is Baitao's actual strength? The previous information should be false.
Although Ling and Baitao are enemies, they have similarities in their characters. Baitao, like Ling, is a little decisive and cold when facing enemies, so the later loss of his true heart in the killing has also been foreshadowed.
People with superpowers account for the majority, and the description of superpowers is not very complicated or fancy. The whole text is concise and straight to the point. The appearance of mechas fits the sci-fi setting very well, and it feels like the book has suddenly been raised to a new level.
Why did I come across this book when there are so few chapters (╥╥) Difficult waiting time
Pan Muming used the weakness and goodwill of his former comrades to let Baitao infiltrate the enemy, and his former boss also took advantage of his inertial judgment and familiarity with the area to set up traps. This plot is cleverly designed and very interesting.
Personally, I think it's a very exciting novel. Compared to other novels that revolve around the protagonist, if I hadn't read the introduction, I would have thought Lie Fist was the protagonist at first 😂 😂
