In the 1960s, Xiuqin originally lived in an ordinary and happy family. A flash flood wiped out everything. Her husband was washed away, and her mother and son were stranded on a deserted island in a lake. They narrowly escaped death. After experiencing untold hardships and perseverance, they finally managed to escape.
