Transmigrating to Build an Ancient Paradise for the Elderly

[Farming + Everyday Life + Easygoing + Building Wealth + Infrastructure + No Male Lead]

At long last, she’s retired, and her granddaughter has started elementary school. She’s ready to enjoy her golden years, but then she gets caught in a shipwreck during a senior group tour and transmigrates to an ancient rural village with absolutely nothing.

Looking at her hungry grandchildren and her gaunt son and daughter-in-law, she can’t help wondering: Why is it so hard to just enjoy a peaceful retirement?

Lin Cuiping is determined to make herself comfortable in her old age, even if it takes everything she has.

She opens a weaving workshop, leads the whole village to prosperity, establishes a senior citizens’ association and then a school for the elderly. She promotes the arts and culture of the Great Xuan Dynasty, enriches its recreational life, and creates an idyllic haven for retirement in ancient times.

A little scene:

“Chairwoman, the people from the Wei residence next door have arrived for their study visit.”

“Chairwoman, wealthy merchant Wang from the prefectural city has invited our village’s performance troupe to put on a birthday show for his mother.”

“Chairwoman, a retired official from the neighboring county wants to move here and spend his old age in our village.”

“Chairwoman...”

Sitting in her rocking chair, sipping tea and listening to the steady stream of announcements from nearby, she thinks: What a busy and fulfilling retirement!
