[Female lead’s growth, character arcs for everyone, inner-courtyard intrigue, political scheming, feel-good power fantasy]
This story is more like a frog being slowly boiled: the pace starts slow and gradually picks up! It follows a series of storylines told from the heroine’s perspective!
Synopsis:
I was just the daughter of an ordinary farming family. As a child, a high fever left me mentally disabled; another bout of fever left me mute for several years! I should have married a farmer at the usual age and become a farmer’s wife, but a fortune-teller said, “This girl’s fate is exceptionally strong. She can withstand calamity and take the place of a noble girl to avert a great disaster!”
In the blink of an eye, I went from a girl who never had enough to eat or wear to a noble daughter of the prince’s manor. I had to take the disaster meant for the commandery princess, and even marry in her place? To a sickly man, no less? Poor Elder Sister, the princess… Well, now I’m the one in trouble!
So all I can do is level up as I fight one monster after another, take on a wicked mother-in-law, a wicked woman, and a wicked husband… I’ve nearly lost my life, yet I keep working hard just to stay alive! I’ve never once complained that fate was unfair, but now I’ve been dragged into a huge conspiracy and a struggle for power! Heaven, you’re being way too cruel to me!!!!
After reading a few pictures, I can feel the author's delicate thoughts, smooth writing and good conception. Looks good. It's getting better and better.
The writing is delicate, and the author has polished each character very carefully. I look forward to the next update.
