One day, the young girl secretly tugged at Shen Jiu’s arm and said in a sweet voice, “Brother Jiu, are you missing Grandma and crying in secret?”

Shen Jiu looked confused. What was she talking about? Grandma was alive and well. Why would he cry?

That night, just before bed, Shen Jiu suddenly remembered how he had once thought of the old lady late at night in his previous life and cried in secret.

But how could the young girl know?
