A newly reimagined take on The Knockout. In the original TV series, the power of Gao Qiqiang and the others plummets as soon as the inspection team arrives in Jinghai. The disparity between the opposing sides is enormous, and many things are left unexplained. I’ve reworked the story: Gao Qisheng becomes the protagonist, and after graduation he forgoes business to become a civil servant. Just as Tang Xiaohu says to Brother Qiang in the series, “Brother Qiang, once you become an official, no one will dare bully us.”
