The Supernatural Descends, and the System Insists on Making Me Invincible

A ghost-world current affairs interview is underway, and a Ghost King faces the camera, looking rather flustered.

“May I ask what made you give up your dignity as a Ghost King and surrender to humanity?”

The Ghost King is terrified. “We've been invading the mortal world for ages, and I saw it with my own eyes: that man held a cleaver and took out one little ghost with every swing.”

“I saw that man walk into a dark room. Then I heard ghosts screaming inside.”

“I saw that man stand on a mortar and bombard the Ghost King's lair.”

“That man... No! He's not even human!”

Hearing the Ghost King's words, Zhang Ran shrugs. “What can I say? The System insists on making me invincible. What am I supposed to do?”
