The author deeply regrets the shortcomings of life: those who do good are not blessed, those who do evil are not misfortuned, talented people do not meet beautiful women, and beautiful women marry villagers instead and regret it. Therefore, we use literature to replace stone to make up for the gaps in the way of heaven. The 8 short stories all illustrate that good deeds will be rewarded with good deeds, evil deeds will be rewarded with evil deeds, and a talented man will eventually marry a beautiful woman. Because the work clearly points out that the law of heaven is unfair, it reflects some social ills; however, the author tries to make up for the shortcomings of the social system from the standpoint of a famous religion, and its progressive significance is limited.
