Your Majesty, the Empress Just Wants to Retire

Chu Xuan transmigrated into the body of an unloved, troublesome empress. Determined to enjoy the good life of drinking tea and reading the papers without relying on the cold-faced emperor, Chu Xuan devoted herself to opening shops and making money. After working hard for several years, she realized she still had no money, only to discover that the Third Prince, who had been placed in her care, had become a money-devouring beast. And then there was the cold-faced emperor, who had disliked her at first but was now throwing himself at her. What on earth was going on?

Then one day, the cold-faced emperor begged her to let him into her room and said, "Lili, as long as I have you, I don't need the throne."

Chu Xuan suddenly felt she might really have provoked someone she shouldn't have.
