Moreover, from Osamu Nonoguchi's perspective, I actually felt a bit of pity and sympathy for him. Even I couldn't understand this sympathy. I could actually sympathize with a murderer. And in fact, when he heard his mother's words, he was happy in his heart, because he did not agree with Rigao's kindness from the bottom of his heart, and he despised Rigao even more. To be honest, I had this kind of thought when I was a child. However, as I grew older and gained more experience, I realized when I was in junior high school that there are people outside the world. Keigo Higashino's reasoning tricks may not be particularly outstanding in the mystery world, but the fluency and readability of mystery novels do exceed those of many famous mystery writers. The motive of murder is really the most interesting thing in mystery novels. I often feel sorry that many mystery novels have superb murder tricks and logical reasoning plots, but do not have an excellent murder motive to match. Keigo Higashino, on the other hand, is always able to write the motives of murder very well, and has a profound insight into the subtle evil in human nature. Osamu Nonoguchi's feelings towards Hidaka are very complex. In addition to being unable to bear the jealousy that eventually led to the murder, he also sincerely regarded him as a friend. Otherwise, why would he be so proud of introducing Hidaka's masterpiece to others? This is the complexity of human nature.
