From the Start, I'm on a Show with My Ex-Girlfriend

Thirty days, four performances, and an old theater waiting to reopen. Lin Nian submitted his proposal to the production team, hoping to build a live show he could be proud of, and to keep the lights on here next quarter. On the guest list was Lu Shuhan, his ex from two years ago. He read it twice, then signed anyway. Twenty-two minutes before the show went live, the first thing the two of them did when they reunited was pull the trailer that had announced their reunion without their permission. The director pointed at the empty stage entrance. "So what are you going to open with?" Starting with an old door that refused to stay in sync, Lin Nian rehearsed, sold tickets, messed things up, and started over with a troupe of colleagues, each with a personality of their own. The past wasn't so easy to explain, and it wasn't so easy to get to know an ex all over again. But this time, he planned to say what needed saying face-to-face, and to follow through on what he had promised.
