“The Azure Heaven is dead; the Yellow Heaven shall rise. In this Year of the Jiazi, may all under Heaven prosper.

I, Lin Wu, swear atop the world, above the vast sea. I shall erect a monument and establish the Martial Way, restoring peace and justice to the world. May the Great Dao bear witness.”
On a towering mountaintop that pierced the clouds, thunder and lightning raged. A man turned his sword into a monument and forged the Martial Way from his own path.
When the Martial Way Monument stood atop the peak, a vortex rippled through the void. The consciousness of the Great Dao appeared and said coldly, “Approved.”
At that moment, the sword monument seemed to come alive, sending waves rippling through the hearts of all beings.
“Martial!”
“Martial!”
The commotion soon drew the immortals, gods, demons, and monsters, along with the Heavenly Daos. The Four Heavenly Daos bowed slightly to the Great Dao and spoke in unison:
“The Divine Dao refuses.”
“The Demonic Dao refuses.”
“The Immortal Dao refuses.”
“The Monster Dao refuses.”
Along with them, ninety percent of all living beings under Heaven cried out their opposition.
With all beings unwilling, the second trial of establishing a Dao could not be passed. This was beyond Lin Wu’s calculations. He had no idea this could happen.
“The Martial Way must not be established.”
As the Great Dao spoke, the sword monument shattered in the sky, and the will of the Martial Way dissipated. Lin Wu staggered back two steps and spat out a mouthful of blood. In an instant, his hair turned white.
“There’s no time to lose.”
“Since the Martial Way cannot be established, you have defied the orthodox path and must die.” The Four Heavenly Daos attacked Lin Wu together.
Gravely wounded and on the verge of death, how could he withstand the four strongest beings in the world? But what did he have to fear?
The peak of the world collapsed, and Lin Wu, too, was nearing the end of his life.
“The gods feast on the faith of all beings, drawing power and fortune from it.
“Immortals steal the lifespans of the world to attain immortality.
“Monsters and demons feed on the world’s fear, growing without limit.
“Thus, gods, immortals, monsters, and demons are parasites upon the world.
“Living beings must strive without cease, wielding the Martial Way to shake the immortals and gods, and slay monsters and demons.”
