Little Grim Reaper, You Think You Can Take My Soul?

Chen Mo was just another office drone working nine to five, until one night a haughty little grim reaper with silver eyes and black hair pressed a sickle to his throat. “I've been ordered to claim your soul. Please cooperate.”

The problem was, she had the wrong person.

The soul contract turned him into her Host instead. The underworld HR System immediately flashed a message: [Binding successful. The contract can be broken only with the consent of both parties. Otherwise, the grim reaper's soul will be destroyed.]

From then on, Chen Mo was forced down a one-way road with a little grim reaper clinging to him: working a day job by day, and working for the netherworld by night. But he soon discovered that he wasn't ordinary at all. The bloodline of an underworld scribe and a remnant soul of the former ruler of the underworld were quietly awakening with every nocturnal mission.

Soul-reaping lists fall into inexplicable disorder, evil spirits use livestreams to gain followers, and the last subway train hides a rift leading to the netherworld... As three layers of conspiracy come to light, the little grim reaper who once tried to claim his soul becomes the person he's willing to risk his life to protect.

“A little grim reaper thinks she can claim my soul?” Chen Mo laughed. “Now it's my turn to claim the lives of both the living and the dead.”
