A confident, flamboyant young master carrying a pair of swords climbed into Shen Li’s carriage. “I hear the eldest daughter of the Shen family is hideously ugly, with a face like Zhong Kui, turtle eyes, a mung-bean mouth, a foul temper, and a jealous nature. I wouldn’t dare marry her. By the way, miss, what’s your name?”
Shen Li smiled. “What a coincidence. My name is Shen Li.”
“Then, shall we run away from our weddings together?”
…
One day, Shen Li asked, “Zheng Guanqi, are you really no good in bed? How else could you resist even after being drugged with an aphrodisiac?”
Zheng Guanqi raised an eyebrow. “Why not find out for yourself?”
The next day, Shen Li couldn’t get out of bed.
