Golden Branch: The Villainess's Revenge

Beneath Xupo Bridge, a man’s body is found wrapped in industrial plastic sheeting and dumped there. His face has been disfigured, his fingers burned and cut, and his fingerprints are gone, yet his wallet and identification papers are all intact. The scene is deeply suspicious.

The Jiangzhou Criminal Police Brigade quickly rules out any connection between the body and the identification papers. They believe it is merely a tedious case of mistaken identity, and that the real culprit has faked his death to disappear. But can the case really be that simple?

What role does Jinzhi play in this strange corpse-dumping case? Is she simply a foolish mistress who helped her boyfriend fake his death after committing murder? Or is she an alleged wicked woman who helped him fake his death in order to control him and carry out some other, even more sinister plan?

And what exactly is this greater evil plan?

Can the police break free of their narrow assumptions, bring the wicked woman to justice, and restore fairness to the world?

But would that really be justice…
