Leaning on Love, Broken Bones

[Dual male leads + tenderness + healing + a touch of angst]

“Shen Zhao, let me help you, okay?”

“There’s no need.”

“I just want to hold you. You can’t say no!”

“Only your elders call you Zhao’er, so I’ll call you A-Zhao. You can’t say no!”

“I’m staying here tonight. You can’t say no!”

…

“Shen Zhao, can you really not feel it?”

“Shen Zhao, do you really have no heart?”

One day, Chu Chen was ready to let go. But while unconscious, he vaguely heard someone say, “I’m sorry, Chu Chen. If I’m still alive, I’ll make it up to you. I’ll do whatever you say, all right?”

The story focuses on court intrigue, with the romance as a secondary thread. It starts off light and sweet, with a little angst later on. One couple, both pure and devoted to each other.
