Character Notes: Su Yao: I once thought Chen Jiaojiao would be a great, shining light in my life, so I did everything I could to hold on to her. But I never expected she had only befriended me because of a bet, with no sincere feelings at all. Even so, I'm still grateful for the time she spent by my side, so I let her win the bet and helped the two of them get together.
Second Instance: The Child Next Door. This is a shocking story about how important parenting really is. I was grilling skewers back in my hometown when the neighbor's child threatened me with a knife and demanded I cook meat for him, or he'd kill me. He thought he could get away with it because he was underage. I got into a confrontation with him, his parents took his side, and even his dog came to bite me. I had no choice but to take extreme measures. In the end, they left. Rumors spread through the village afterward, but I didn't care.
