To save her, her best friend lost both legs. So she gave her friend the love of her life, the boy she had grown up with, and begged the domineering CEO to take her away. Four years later, she returned as the CEO’s wife. As it turned out, the marriage was only meant to imprison and torment her. After the wedding, tenderness and cruelty were intertwined. She was hurt again and again, then unexpectedly became pregnant.
“You don’t need to worry,” she told him. “I’ll take care of the baby myself. I won’t cause you any trouble.” He reached out and caressed her cheek, then began coaxing her again. “Let the baby be born safely, and I’ll let you see your parents. I promise, this time I mean it. That’s all I ask.”
She ran away, throwing the whole city into chaos. He grabbed her by the head and pulled her into his arms, leaving her no chance to resist. His voice softened. “Can you really bear to do this?” In the raging fire, she clung desperately to his sleeve and begged him, “Don’t worry about me. If you can get out, go! I’m really not afraid of dying, but I don’t want you to die!” He gripped her face hard, narrowed his eyes, and said in a low, domineering voice, “You’re mine. I won’t let you die!”
She left anyway. When she returned, he had no patience left. He kept closing in on her, so she drew a sharp dagger and held it against his abdomen. Smiling, she said, “Stay away from me. When I lose it, I don’t care who I hurt.” He chuckled. Nothing in the world could stop him from wanting her now. “If you want to kill me, I won’t dodge,” he said. And he meant it. Instead of backing away, he moved closer, pressing the dagger’s hilt against her stomach. The tip pierced his white shirt, but he only grew more patient. He spoke slowly, word by word: “Be good, Mumu. Go on, stab me. If you hate me, kill me. Don’t hold back.”
So pitiful! Deprived of maternal love, no matter how old the child is, he is still his mother's child
