Return to the Crags with You

[Mutual pining] [Both are each other’s one and only] [Reunited after a breakup]

He’s picking up his nephew from kindergarten when the little rascal refuses to let go of a pretty girl. The parent who rushes over is Shang Yujun’s first love, who tells him to behave himself.

Shang Yujun: We broke up five years ago, and the kid is three. Great, basically no gap at all.

Chen Guiyan: They say birds of a feather flock together. The family’s got a real problem with getting handsy.

The early part is a running diary of growing up; the middle is full of flirtatious back-and-forth as they get together; the later part is sweet with a touch of angst, followed by a desperate pursuit to win the other back.

A slow-burn little story, more or less.
