One reckless night, a twist of fate.
She became the Chi family’s dutiful granddaughter-in-law, and his antidote.
He was cold toward her, treated her like garbage, made snide remarks, and avoided her at every turn.
But eventually, he fell deeply in love with her and couldn’t pull himself away.
When his buddies invited him out for drinks, he turned them down without hesitation. “My wife’s pregnant. I need to go home and be with her.”
When another woman came calling, President Chi shot back impatiently, “What, do you want to be the other woman?”
Until one day, she tried to leave, fighting back her pain.
The man who had always been so arrogant went red-eyed, took her hand, and begged her in a low voice.
“Nan Nan, don’t go. I was wrong.”
In front of her, he was willing to humble himself and submit to her completely.
He would also weave a sturdy, tender net around her, leaving her nowhere to run.
It's a well-written book. The protagonist has a likable personality and the plot design is OK. But don't have too many branch plots. It's not good to have a beginning and no end if you can't take it back. Overall, it's worth recommending.
Who is Yu Weiwei married to?
The heroine doesn't have a love brain, and she doesn't rely on the hero's personality for everything 😘
Very nice, but the ending is a bit sloppy
