Love Between Immortals and Gods: What If My Big Brother Doesn’t Love Me Anymore?

[Two male leads + bickering lovers + arrogant, sharp-tongued + younger man + evenly matched + gong protagonist]: Two men, both chaste, one-on-one romance, Jue Ying x Shao Yu, dragon-and-phoenix brothers

The Heavenly Realm’s beloved, warmhearted little tyrant and Phoenix War God X the haughty, solitary, breathtakingly beautiful Dragon God elder brother, abandoned and raised by his stepmother

Jue Ying and Shao Yu are renowned across the Heavenly Realm as twin-star War Gods. Both are proud, stubborn, and sharp-tongued, but Jue Ying only acts that way because he has to. After all, his elder brother is so proud and awkward. So what if their mother-emperor adopted him?

What of it? Bro, get a grip! You’re a dragon god with horns on your head, for crying out loud! You’ve also got me, your adorable and badass little brother. What’s there to be unhappy about? Besides, Mother Emperor is just a workaholic. It’s not like she abandoned you… Brother, why make life so difficult for yourself?

To force his brother to see him, Jue Ying set fire to Shao Yu’s palace.

Jue Ying: If my brother won’t pay attention to me, we can just have a fight!

Shao Yu: Little phoenix, don’t push it! You really think that just because you’re Mother’s own child, I’ll keep letting you get away with everything?

Jue Ying is the son of Han Zhang, the current Immortal Emperor, and Xiu Tuo, the former Immortal Emperor. His mother wields absolute power, and though his birth father is dead, he was widely respected. The extraordinary little phoenix couldn’t understand his brother’s inner conflict at first.

Shao Yu is the son of Chang Liao, who seized the throne, and She Ji, Chang Liao’s former lover. His parentage is illegitimate, he lives under someone else’s roof, and his stepmother raised him in a remote mountainous region. He couldn’t understand Jue Ying’s warmth and sincerity.

But as one twist of fate after another brings them together and sends them apart, they eventually discover that neither of them can live without the other.
