[This book never got any traction from the start, so, unfortunately, I had to drop it. To save everyone’s time, here’s the ending: I killed off the protagonist.]
Modern-day young man Chai Jun gets dragged off to the immortal world to work as a laborer.
Unwilling to settle for an ordinary life, he fights his way through. He’s ambushed others and been ambushed himself; he’s schemed and played the pig to eat the tiger, only to be treated like a pig and eaten for real. He’s found friendships forged in battle, and a woman who loves him deeply.
Chai Jun saves the day when all seems lost. With no peak above the mountains, I stand as the summit.
I think this book is very good, it is funny and has a heartwarming plot. It's just that it's not fat enough yet, and the plot hasn't unfolded yet, but just looking at the descriptions, the world view is quite large. It seems that there is no traffic.
