The sun is about to go out, and the apocalypse is upon us. All of humanity joins forces to propel Earth out of the solar system in search of a new home.
But on its journey, Earth encounters a wormhole and accidentally arrives in another solar system with its own sun. Earth comes to a stop there.
Yet an even greater trial awaits: the energy in this star system causes Earth's creatures to mutate or evolve, and a harsher ordeal begins.
