The Wheel of Destiny

In ancient times, countless paths vied for supremacy, and the Heavenly Dao became ruler of heaven and earth through the power of great deeds.

Thus, the emperors of the myriad races fell, the myriad races retreated into hiding, and only humanity remained in the world.

Everyone thought this was a gift from the Heavenly Dao to humanity. But Ye Tianxing, a guardian of the Path of Love, had witnessed it all, and he smiled calmly.

This so-called gift was nothing but a joke. In the struggle among countless paths, the Heavenly Dao had been gravely wounded. To heal itself, it bestowed its legacy and blessings, thereby drawing upon humanity's karmic power to treat its injuries.

Thus, to establish a destiny for the living, bring peace to all generations, and carry on the lost teachings of the sages was nothing but one enormous joke.

The living have ties to the living, and the dead have ties to the dead. The Heavenly Dao used humanity to create disasters, then lifted those disasters from them, gaining the favor of the living in the process.

Meanwhile, the world's ghost masters fulfilled the wishes of the dead, earned their favor, and advanced their cultivation.

Since time immemorial, humanity has suffered at their hands without ever realizing it. People even feel grateful to them, calling them sages.

Now that I, Ye Tianxing, have been reborn, I will never allow the gods and demons of the heavens to persecute humanity like this any longer.

I will help humanity escape the wheel of fate.

I shall tread the path to heaven, shatter the myriad paths, escape destiny, and bring about a world of great unity.
