Quirky girl vs. two-faced boy, healing romance, parallel worlds
From the day Lin Qianyu meets Shi Yu again, she keeps having a strange dream. In it, a tall, slender boy walks step by step into the sea. No matter how hard she chases after him, the water eventually swallows him whole.
Lin Qianyu often wonders who the boy is. Then one day, during a student council trip to the beach, she spots a thin figure apart from the lively crowd. It is the gentle senior a year above her, sitting alone on the sand and gazing into the distance. The lonely moon hangs over the dark sea, and Lin Qianyu’s vision suddenly blurs. She walks over slowly, sits down beside Shi Yu, and says, “It’s too cold! Don’t go!” Her voice is hoarse, pleading.
Shi Yu turns to look at her. His gaze is unlike its usual warmth, sharp as a sword and tinged with curiosity. The waves gently lap at Lin Qianyu’s feet, as if reproaching her for her rudeness.
This is the story of two lonely planets drawing together. It begins when Lin Qianyu, like the warm winter sun in Shi Yu’s eyes, arrives on his desolate planet, her unique light instantly driving away all the darkness around him.
But Shi Yu never imagined that the breeze on that summer beach would stir up more than a young boy’s feelings. It would also bring back the words Lin Qianyu had failed to cry out in her dreams hundreds of times:
“It’s too cold! Don’t go!”
