An Unconventional Mary Sue

A slice-of-life story.

I walked over to the cupboard, grabbed two bottles of soy milk, then sat down and stared at the taro until our eyes practically crossed. I rubbed my stomach, which kept growling. I really was hungry. My little face wore a troubled, miserable expression, as if I were standing in an endless field, staring into the distance with hollow eyes at the gloomy sky. At last, my meal had arrived. Nothing beats a bowl of rice! I said to the taro, “Time to eat, time to eat!!”

Nothing beats a bowl of rice! Have you eaten today?~
