Xiao Yu is a financial lawyer at a securities firm. She has a strong sense of justice and refuses to go along with the crowd, but time and again, she gets knocked down in Shanghai’s cutthroat workplace. Can she stay true to herself and turn things around? A proud, devoted CEO pursues her, but Xiao Yu has eyes only for her boyfriend, Xiao Song, who is ten years younger. Xiao Yu says, “You’re such an idiot. Why did you stand up for me? And why did you offer to resign?” “Protecting your reputation matters more than some job,” Xiao Song replies. “Were you a knight in your past life or something?” “Not just in my past life. I’ll keep being your knight in this one, too, and protect you.” But Xiao Song isn’t the only one who loves her. Xiao Feng, a wealthy heiress, is determined to steal him away and launches all kinds of advances... Meanwhile, President Lin feels that fate has treated him well at last, bringing him a genuine woman like Xiao Yu. She doesn’t think more highly of him just because he’s Lin Muhua, nor does she deliberately get close to him for the opportunities he could offer. That’s why he’s willing to give her everything.
