Back to Middle School: The System Forces Me to Become a Top Student

Also known as: I Help My Whole Family Reach the Pinnacle of Life Through Studying Yu Yan is reborn at the age of twelve and gets accosted by a System that calls itself “The Harder You Work, the Luckier You Get.” The System says that the harder she studies, the luckier everyone around her will be. Yu Yan: ? Her little head is full of big question marks. “Shouldn’t it be that the harder I work, the luckier I get?” The System replies, “This System is also known as the ‘Burn Yourself to Light the Way for Others’ System, the ‘Busy Little Bee’ System, the ‘Spring Mud’ System…” Oh, so it’s a self-sacrificing System. She can complain all she likes, but she still has to work hard. And so Yu Yan’s life becomes a mix of laughter and tears: She does practice problems, and her mother wins the lottery; She breaks her bad habits, and her father gets a raise; She places in an English speech contest, and her English teacher earns a senior professional title; Later, she takes down her scumbag homeroom teacher, saves a little girl with congenital heart disease, and pulls people back from the brink before they sink into the mire… Yu Yan watches the people around her reach the pinnacle of life one by one. She, too, is standing at the summit, gazing down, and shedding tears of happiness (and exhaustion)… An inspirational story about studying hard and building a career. There is a male lead, who appears in high school and makes early appearances.
