After going to the disaster zone to rescue people, Nan Xing was caught in a mudslide and became the identically named supporting female character in the imperial-examination novel she had just been reading. She was the male lead's vicious childhood sweetheart, who had grown up with him. Driven by her own desires, she caused trouble at every turn and ultimately managed to bring about her own death.
Remembering the original owner's fate, Nan Xing treasured this hard-won second chance at life. She decided to throw herself into the rat race of ancient times and stop the plot from unfolding!
When the male lead passed the county-level imperial examination and was riding high on success,
Nan Xing was already the famous young doctor An in the prefectural city, treated with respect wherever she went!
When the male lead passed the provincial examination, matchmakers came one after another to propose marriage!
Nan Xing had already earned a reputation as a master of gynecology, revered by nobles and officials alike!
When the male lead claimed top honors in the palace examination and won the emperor's favor,
Nan Xing had become a guest of honor to the emperor and empress. The common folk were even going to build temples to honor her and spread tales of her good deeds.
As for the gentle and gracious female lead, she was following close behind Nan Xing, going crazy for her, swooning for her, and banging her head against the wall for her!
Nan Xing (shrugging helplessly): I can't help being so charming! I really didn't mean to turn the plot on its head!
(A little note: The illnesses and prescriptions in this story are not medically accurate. The author has made changes and adapted them for the purposes of the story. Please don't use them as a real-world reference. If you get sick, go to a hospital for a proper diagnosis!)
I like the character design of the heroine and the writing is smooth. I deducted 1 point because there were several men who made single-pointed comments about the heroine. I really don't like the description of the emotional lines. I don't know if the author will arrange a male protagonist in the future. If there is a male protagonist, I will run away.
Maybe the three views are different. I can't quite accept the heroine's character, but as the heroine said, there is no need to criticize if you don't accept it. You can't force your own three views on others.
So far it's okay, but I hope the original male lead is not the male lead
It's quite good-looking. I feel that the heroine is kind but has an edge, not a holy mother!
Not bad, I especially like to see the heroine being a doctor in ancient times, it is both reasonable and refreshing.
It's one of the rare books I've been able to read recently.
