[Immortality, Laid-Back Master, Lighthearted and Witty, The Male Lead Shapes Events from Behind the Scenes, Carefree and Unrestrained, Traveling the Mortal World]
Xiao Yao sleeps in every morning and skips his morning cultivation. He always seems so absent-minded, yet somehow he is always prepared for everything.
He is a transmigrator in the cultivation world. His Immortality System leaves him with just one highly abstract instruction:
“Maintain a deeply relaxed state of mind to earn free attribute points.”
“Deeply relaxed? Isn’t that just slacking off?” Xiao Yao thinks.
So he lets himself go, traveling the world and doing as he pleases, while accidentally growing stronger along the way.
He refuses the empty promises made by the big shots of the immortal sects, and watches from the sidelines as others fight tooth and nail for opportunities.
An elder flips through a priceless manual passed down through his family and scoffs at the younger generation for not knowing what’s good for them. He never notices the faint writing tucked away at the bottom of the page:
“Written by: The Unrivaled Supreme Carefree Immortal Above Heaven and Below.”
This immortal dislikes cutthroat competition and showing off in public. He only wants to live a quiet, long life, roam freely, and share sincere, joyful moments with those he is fated to meet.
And so, his traces can be found everywhere in the cultivation world, yet he himself is nowhere to be seen.
But if, even so, someone insists on coming to pick a fight,
then whether they are a grandmaster of an immortal sect or a genius cultivator,
they still have to walk home at night.
As for me, I’m just an inconspicuous Qi Refining cultivator. A little ambush in self-defense
is perfectly reasonable, right?
