Lin Xiaoyu, a police academy student about to graduate from university, was attacked one night by a monster from a mirror. Just as she was about to be dragged into the mirror world, a strange armored figure rescued her, revealing a side of the world hidden from ordinary people.
More than two years later, Lin Xiaoyu has become a criminal investigator and is looking into a bizarre string of murders. When a colleague wonders aloud whether the crimes could have been committed by something other than a human, Lin Xiaoyu remembers the monster in the mirror from years ago.
As the investigation continues, the police uncover a connection between the victims. Lin Xiaoyu, meanwhile, comes face-to-face with the “culprit” after it has struck again. A monster unlike the one from two years ago appears before her...
