The Male Dorm’s Hybrid Orbital Theory

Jiang Ning is from the south. The first time he comes north, he can't help noticing the average height of the men here.

Even the buses don't have straps to pull... They say they were removed because people kept hitting their heads.

"158 cm." The cold mechanical voice loudly announces Jiang Ning's height in the auditorium during the entrance physical exam, the sound echoing through the hall.

He can hear one after another around him: "188 cm," "187 cm."

He can only say, he'd gotten used to this for the first half of his life, so why is it suddenly... Why has his self-esteem taken such a hit?!

Still, he doesn't stay down for long, because all his roommates are tall.

Song Jingcheng just happens to be the shortest of them: 185 cm.

At first, though, Jiang Ning thinks he's a bit of a bore.

But the greatest of life's three misconceptions is: I think he likes me!

Am I allowed to think that?!

Song Jingcheng: My roommate is so cute!

My 160-centimeter-tall roommate is so cute!

My roommate is so cute when he's angry, too!

The process in which atomic orbitals of different types but similar energy combine to form a new set of orbitals is called hybridization. The new orbitals formed are called hybrid orbitals.
