[Di Xin × Daji]
Early story: Zhaoge. Later story: the Demon Realm.
Amid a vast ocean, between clouds and mist, gulls and herons called to one another as they wheeled back and forth.
Through the clouds and mist, mountain peaks rose, and seabirds took flight. This was Yaolu Mountain.
Daji was the only daughter of Yaolu Mountain’s ruler.
When Daji was seventeen, she left Yaolu Mountain by boat. She thought it would be a simple trip, but an accident stranded her on the human continent.
There, she met the king destined for her.
He said, “I’m willing to believe in you, my goddess.” He also said,
“Now that I believe in you, how could I believe in anyone else?”
As he spoke, tenderness brimmed in his eyes. This was the young King Zhou, a side of him no outsider had ever seen.
But later, that became his crime:
“Disrespected the gods and obeyed only a woman’s words.”
Fragmented male lead: Di Xin, Demon Lord, unknown fragment.
