Bai Zhixing, the legitimate daughter of General Bai of the Ling Kingdom, is a gentle and intelligent woman who longs for a love shared by two people for a lifetime.
Ling Yichen, the third prince of the Ling Kingdom, lost his mother when he was young in an accident. Born with a natural gift for war, he is brave in battle, forceful and domineering. Meeting her makes him believe in a love shared by two people for a lifetime.
Ling Yixuan, the gentle and refined second prince: “Even if I met you first, you could never love me.” He fights back the pain in his heart and says, “As long as you turn back, I'll be right here waiting for you.”
“Ling Yichen, you promised we'd be together for a lifetime, but you broke your word.”
“Zhier, Zhier!” Ling Yichen watches her fall off the cliff, powerless to stop her.
“Fool, we'll be together in this life and the next.”
