A Lip-Biting Addiction

[Heiress from a prominent family vs. retired big shot of the capital’s elite circle]

An Yangxi, heiress to a financial conglomerate in the capital, was born into a prominent family.

Her father was a businessman, and the family’s enterprises spanned the country.

Her mother came from a distinguished century-old family in the capital, with deep roots and an exalted standing.

-

A highborn heiress and qipao beauty, she had been carefree and spoiled since childhood, longed for freedom, and had a rebellious streak.

Yet instead of enjoying the luxurious life of a rich heiress, she ventured into the entertainment industry alone.

Thanks to her superb acting and talent, she became the youngest Best Actress in the country in just three years.

-

An Yangxi had always lived life on her own terms, but after her father hired her a personal bodyguard, her extravagant lifestyle was completely turned upside down.

He not only banned her from entertainment venues, but even made her follow a schedule fit for an old person.

-

One night, just after she sneaked into a bar, her personal bodyguard showed up. Ignoring her protests, he hoisted her over his shoulder and carried her out in full view of everyone.

-

An Yangxi’s greatest wish was to get rid of Shen, the all-controlling “housekeeper-bodyguard.”

But she never expected that the seemingly ordinary bodyguard was actually a feared big shot in the capital’s elite circle, one whom the powerful went out of their way to avoid.

Even her mother showed him a measure of respect.

-

And when she saw with her own eyes the former fiancé she had never met appear before her, she felt an unprecedented sense of crisis for the first time.

Before she could get away, however, the dignified man blocked her path, his amused gaze fixed on her as if she were prey.

A smile tugged at his lips as he spoke nonchalantly. “Yangyang, do you think you can get away? If you don’t behave, I don’t mind taking you by force.”
