On an ordinary night of driving rain, flashing lightning, and crashing thunder, a thoroughly ordinary 22-year-old woman had just been fired. Her daily routine was a mess, and her mind was even more of one. At that very moment, she was in high spirits as she curled up beneath a thick quilt, letting out the occasional lecherous giggle!
Her body, wrapped up like a silkworm in its cocoon and squirming beneath the covers, was simply the result of being so engrossed in the e-book in her hands that every time she felt the urge to pee, she forced herself to hold it in.
But she couldn’t keep doing that forever! At last, when she couldn’t hold it any longer, the lazy woman sprang up, crept down the stairs in the dark with only the faint glow of her phone, and hurried outside.
Even now, she couldn’t stop herself from glancing at the book. Once downstairs, she grabbed a black umbrella someone had left open in the hallway and headed for the outhouse in the yard, splitting her attention between walking and reading as she giggled to herself. She was completely absorbed.
The rain kept pouring, the thunder kept booming, and the lightning kept striking!
Then, in a moment of carelessness, her foot slipped. Lightning came hurtling toward her with a crackle! And just like that, this ordinary, scatterbrained 22-year-old unemployed woman’s “wicked” life came to an end.
At the very end, she was still clutching the phone in her hand, charred black by the lightning...
