The Dao Source of the Violet Palace

The Way follows nature. But what is the Way? What is nature? A descendant of a Dao Ancestor has dreamed of cultivating the Way since childhood. Is it the trickery of fate, or perhaps reincarnation, that has left him unable to cultivate? By chance, he encounters an extraordinary opportunity, overcomes obstacle after obstacle, attains true enlightenment, explores the heart of Daoism, and seeks the origin of nature.

Rather than focusing on the traditional cycle of fighting monsters and leveling up, the story centers on quiet cultivation, steadily building power and comprehending the Great Dao.

Magic is only the outward appearance. The highest good is like water, and great virtue bears all things. To attain the Great Dao, one must cultivate the heart. Only by following nature can one become truly accomplished.

Written in a classical style, this story seeks depth. It has less of the oppressive scheming and dark inner thoughts, and more kindness, friendship, mutual support, and sunshine.
