[Unhinged, goofy girl who stands her ground × witty, sharp-tongued, sweet-on-the-outside schemer]
What should you do when your blind date turns out to be the sharp-tongued heartthrob from high school? Shen Xinbai decides to play dead.
Back then, she was obsessed with the "bad boy" Qi Yue and sparred endlessly with her childhood friend Han Jingyi.
Now he's all suited up, elegant and distinguished. He looks at her with the same infuriating smile:
"I heard you used to sneak over walls and skip class for someone else. You have terrible taste."
Han Jingyi's irresistible peach-blossom eyes are just as captivating as ever.
He looks at her, his tone as teasing as it was back then:
"Shen Xinbai, after taking such a long detour, it turns out I'm still your final destination."
