Becoming an Idol: A Survival Guide

[Talent Show + Livestreaming + Infinite-Flow + Playing the Fool to Outsmart the Wise + Feel-Good Story + Younger Man + Two Strong Leads]

[An ambitious, seemingly sweet and innocent but secretly calculating rising star × a cool beauty queen with a talent for her work]

Setting: A fictional future metropolis + a touch of cyberpunk + VR technology

Zhang Yang, a trainee who joined the industry halfway through, clashes on the very first day of the talent show with Heng Yan, the most popular contestant, a superb singer and dancer, and the second son of Hengfu Group! Somehow, rivals become teammates, and eventually they become a couple!

To make it through a talent show, you need more than singing, dancing, and rapping. You also need a strong body and mind?

What the hell is this, an idol competition or special forces training?!

To make it through a reality show, you have to brave a haunted house, survive a battle royale, make it through a psychiatric hospital, and escape a biological disaster, too??

PS: Bonus scene:

Heng Yan: “How’s your rap? Got any freestyle?”

Zhang Yang: “Hey, my boy, look me in the eyes. I’ll tell you what I’ve been meaning to say.

You always act like you don’t care, even drinking cold water with an air of royal flair.

That handsome face goes to waste when you act so aloof, so blank even a zombie would hit the roof.

You dance and show off like a pro at acting cool, and the judges send you flying right out of the school.

You ask if I’ve got freestyle? I can rap you right back to your hometown.”
