Xin'anlu

Anqing State is a border country with Qianxi as its capital. The current emperor of Anqing Kingdom, Anchanghe, ascended the throne at the age of thirty-two and named his country Anhe. Anchang had three sons, namely the Queen, Concubine Shu and Concubine Feng. In the spring of the 19th year of Anhe, Concubine Feng passed away due to illness. The 19-year-old third prince An Yi was very sad. When sorting out Concubine Feng's belongings, he found a box of fragrant powder. In the summer of the 20th year of Anhe, Liu Jiang, the minister of the Ministry of Justice, and his wife left Qianxi to investigate the case. They were killed on their way back to the capital. The sixteen-year-old only daughter Liu Yuyun was unable to go with her because of official duties, so she survived. In the autumn of the 20th year of Anhe's reign, Liu Yuyun was appointed as the minister of punishment. In the winter of the 22nd year of Anhe, Liu Yuyun was framed by others and clashed with the Holy Emperor. He was demoted to the magistrate of Xin'an County and took office later that year. In the 23rd year of Anhe's reign, Liu Yuyun arrived in Xin'an County, and the story officially began.
