Fourth Prince! Your Side Consort Is Beautiful but Evil!

[A Scheming, Fatherly Yinzhen]+ [Clever Legitimate Daughter Nian Yueyao]

This story is set in an alternate world. Everything is fictional, so please don't overthink it.

The timeline follows history. Also, can I write Yinzhen and Nian Shi's romance as sweet and fluffy?

The pacing isn't fast, but nothing is superfluous, and everything is intricately connected.

After transmigrating into the Qing Dynasty, Nian Yueyao became the most beloved legitimate daughter of the Nian family!

Remembering the tragic fate of the Noble Consort Nian in history, Nian Yueyao decided to nip that fate in the bud.

First, she went to great lengths to get Prince Yong to accept her as his sworn younger sister.

“Prince Yong, I've admired your talents for a long time. Would you let me become your sworn sister?”

Prince Yong: ???

Shouldn't “I've admired you for a long time” mean she wanted to marry him?

Prince Yong had been plotting for ages, but coolly refused.

Nian Yueyao wouldn't give up and kept pestering him.

“Prince Yong, I had a dream that if I became your sworn sister, you would surely accomplish great things in the future!”

Yinzhen: ...

No! He wanted to accomplish great things, but he wanted Nian Yueyao too!

After the imperial selection, Nian Yueyao entered Prince Yong's household as Yinzhen wished, becoming his secondary consort.

On the day she entered the household, Yinzhen spent the night in her room.

Looking at the woman he'd long yearned for, he smiled and asked, “Do you still want to be my sworn sister?”

Nian Yueyao gave an awkward smile. She grumbled inwardly that she shouldn't have asked to be his sworn sister back then. She should have asked him to be her godfather instead!

Later, Hongli became her adopted son, and she decided to just coast through life.

[Reader advisory: 1. The heroine is subtly wicked, not showy about it. 2. She's not a bad person; she only treats bad people badly. The story includes the rules and etiquette of the prince's household and imperial court, with a slice-of-life approach.]
