Behold the Rivers and Mountains

A gentle, refined beauty of a master × a loyal, goofy disciple (younger-man romance) P.S. This might count as a story told mainly from the pursuer’s perspective, but the author does enjoy writing from the pursued’s perspective at times. The pursued is also an ordinary person, so he won’t always act the same way. He’s multifaceted, not out of character! After losing both his parents, Lu Zezhong was picked up by a little old man and brought to a mountain home of immortals, where he also gained a young master. It wasn’t until he turned sixteen, when his master took him out to travel the world and gain experience in accordance with the sect’s rules, that he discovered the world wasn’t as peaceful as he’d imagined. There was a mountain where a woman’s anguished cries rang out every night at midnight; he encountered the mythical beast Jiao, known only from legends; everywhere he went, he saw strange sights unlike anything he’d seen before, as well as all the ways people in this world were powerless to choose their own fates. During their travels, he finally witnessed a side of his master he’d never seen before. He came to understand the world’s warmth and coldness, and the evil in people’s hearts. His admiration for his master grew, and an outrageous thought of betraying his teacher and destroying his ancestors crept into his mind... There will be many charming female characters in this story. I hope you’ll enjoy them.
