The Journey

Amidst the chaos, a girl creates a new world. It continues the previous world, which was destroyed. Here, everyone who once died will be resurrected, and after finishing all this, the girl will set out to find the family she lost in the previous era.

Bang! The door flies open. Sixteen-year-old Kiana is dressed and ready for the journey ahead.

“Ling'er, are you ready?!”

The little fox perched on Kiana's shoulder chirps.

“Great! Then let's go!”

“Wait, Kiana, you still have so many clothes to take!”

Cecilia's voice comes from inside the room. Kiana and Xue Ling'er exchange a glance, then run outside without looking back, as Kiana calls loudly,

“Mom, I have plenty of clothes already. You don't need to worry about it!”

Cecilia hurries after them and watches Kiana's retreating figure. She puffs out her cheeks and says angrily,

“Kiana! Hmph, that child really is a handful. She never makes things easy.”

Inside, Siegfried reads the newspaper while sipping his morning tea.

“Ah, that's just Kiana's personality. You know that.”

Cecilia glances at Siegfried, then grabs him by the ear.

“She's like that because you raised her that way! And hurry up and do the dishes!”

“Ow, ow, that hurts! Dear, please let go. I'll do it right away.”

Meanwhile, Kiana runs down the street as the morning sun falls across her face. Breathing in the fresh air, she smiles gently at the little fox on her shoulder.

“Let's go!”

Their journey has officially begun.

(Two female protagonists. It's sort of a Honkai fanfic.)
