This book is very interesting! Through oral narration, it makes us seem to have traveled back to the Republic of China period and see the true side of those warlords. Moreover, the direct warlords Cao Kun and Wu Peifu mentioned in the book reminded me of Zhang Zuolin in "The Young Marshal". They were both influential figures of that era. This book also reminded me of my grandfather. He once told me some of his experiences in that era, which were very similar to some of the descriptions in the book, which gave me a deeper understanding of that period of history. All in all, I think this is a book worth reading and I recommend it to you!
