A legend of two heroines engraved in the late Northern Song Dynasty, a tragic song in the mortal world that echoes between the light of swords and tenderness.
The story begins in a northern border town where prosperity and crisis coexist. Bai Yin Yin, possessing Tiangang's thirty-six peerless sword skills and the mystery of his bizarre life experience, embarked on a thorny road to find the truth about his mother's death after the tragic death of his adoptive father and the betrayal of his childhood sweetheart Bai Feimu. Chu Qiong, a shrewd and capable business woman, runs a ceramics shop in a border town in order to escape a fruitless cousin relationship (Han Ji) and family constraints, but her fate intertwines with Bai Yinyin's fate.
The two heroines join hands to deal with various forces in the border town: the dandy Song Jing, the infatuated and staunch Song Xiaoyu, the paranoid horse racing master Chen Xiaofeng, Fang Kuiyi and Lin Mufeng who join Xiaoliang Mountain to resist the tyranny. (Lin Chong's adopted son)... They gradually uncovered the layers of mystery and discovered that Bai Yinyin's life experience was closely connected with the grievances of Song Tianxiao, a wealthy family in the border town, Gao Qiu, Wang Boyan and even his biological father Mo Lin.
However, personal grievances and hatreds seem so insignificant under the giant wheel of the times. The Jin people marched southward, and the war broke out in the border town again. At this time when their family and country are in danger and humanity is being tested, Bai Yinyin and Chu Qiong have witnessed betrayal and loyalty, and experienced despair and rebirth. Bai Feimu indulged in lust for power and eventually became an abandoned son; Lin Mufeng died generously to avenge his country and hate his family; Fang Kuiyi and Song Xiaoyu finally stayed together after going through hardships; and the two of them, after seeing clearly the chaos of the world and the illusion of love, resolutely cut off the threads of the past.
In the end, together with their old friend Zhao Feifei who also wandered here, they opened the "Qiong Yin Pavilion" in the border town, hiding their edge in the fireworks and dust, and staying together.
