The Nine-Thousand-Year Lord Says One Thing and Does Another, Always Pushing People Away

Money-loving consort × all-powerful Ninth Thousand Year × System playing matchmaker × devoted to each other × harem

A university student fed up with her all-English classes joins a company for the money and transmigrates to ancient times to help the Ninth Thousand Year fulfill his wish. But the Ninth Thousand Year tells her to get close to the emperor and find out what happened to her mother's keepsake. The System is secretly displeased: the couple it ships isn't the emperor and the heroine. So it starts stirring up trouble to create romantic moments.

This story is set in a fictional world. The author is just a hopeless romantic.
