The Fork in the Road

If one day I discovered another me in the world, not someone who merely looked like me, but someone who was exactly me, even if he might be me from the future or the past, I’d be overjoyed. Because I once made a “Pact of Eternal Unity” with myself, and the two of us would join forces to achieve more than the sum of our parts. If I woke up one morning and found another me right beside me, I’d be so happy I could die.
