The Legend of White Snake

It tells the story of Xu Xuan, the master of the Medicine Valley, and his junior sister Leng Ning, who practice medicine to save people. They meet Bai Yaoyao at the Peach Blossom Festival. After many twists and turns, the two finally get married. But Bai Yaoyao violated the law of heaven by stealing the fairy grass to save Xu Xuan. Xu Xuan, who recovered from his illness, recalled the past and rescued Yaoyao alone. Junior sister Leng Ning was jealous of Bai Yaoyao, which caused the dragon to appear and bring disaster to the world. In order to save himself, Bai Yaoyao was suppressed by Qi Xiao under the Leifeng Pagoda. Xu Xuan was heartbroken, no longer in love with the mortal world, and fled to the Zen forest. Xiaoqing listened to Bai Yaoyao's advice and went back to the mountain to practice. Twenty years later, Bai Yaoyao saw the light of day again. The cause and effect with Xu Xuan were resolved. Qi Xiao broke the bond with the mortal world and escaped into Buddhism.
