A thousand years ago, Mount Ling led billions of Buddhas in an invasion of the Central Plains to claim the people’s faith. The Heavenly Court was defeated, and the Jade Emperor perished.
A thousand years later, internet celebrity Lu Feng visits a Taoist temple to pay his respects and awakens the memories of his past life. He learns that he is the Jade Emperor, and that on the eve of the great battle a thousand years ago, he foresaw his defeat and sent a fragment of his divine consciousness to hide among mortals.
Now that his memories have returned, Lu Feng discovers the truth behind that battle: it was part of a shocking conspiracy.
His only chance of survival is to rebuild the Heavenly Court.
The first step is to find the old schemers who fled even faster than he did a thousand years ago, awaken their memories of their past lives one by one, and gather the faith of the people.

“This is Lord Laozi. He can down ten pots of elixir in one go!”
“Erlang Shen, come on, show us a little wink!”
